Kids love dinosaurs, really love them. I mean, that’s pretty cool since not one dinosaur has been around for zillions and zillions of years. Which leads me to think: when they were around the Earth — long long long before we have been – they were around for 165 million years. It’s hard to wrap your head — or much of anything – around that fact.
There are some great museums that describe the different dinosaurs, some were large (very large) meat-eaters, some who loved only veggies. They came in different sizes and shapes. And many had an incredible number of teeth.
Our main character, Dr. Einsteinorous, is a fictional guy who is very smart, well, at least to other dinosaurs. In our book, he just graduated from school and starts working at a dental practice. Many different dino patients come in to see him, and with smarts, kindness and a just little bit of nerves (hey, after all, Dr. E is looking at some pretty big mouths), our hero teaches his patients — most with hundreds of teeth – how to be healthy.
But some of the biggest dinosaurs are . . . scared. Dr Einsteinorous gently teaches them to choose wisely between healthy and junk food. He also shows that while a dentist’s tools might look scary, they are actually here to help.
Blending heart and humor, Dr. Einsteinorous Becomes a Dentist uses vibrant illustrations and playful prose to teach both kids and dinos the importance of healthy teeth.
Dr. Einsteinorous gently guides them to make wise choices between healthy and junk food, and shows them that dental tools, while they might look scary, are actually there to help.
